Washington Central State University, U.S.A. The first is for solo (unaccompanied) clarinet.and is
entitled " ....and touch the face of God" and is a heartfelt Threnody guaranteed to move any audience. (circa Gr.5) The second is a new arrangement for Bb Clarinet & Piano of George Gershwin's RHAPSODY IN BLUE which is not to be confused with all the simplified one-page pieces of nonsense out there. This version contains virtually all of the original solo, and is a skilfull
re-working of the orchestral content such that it stands as a serious concert piece for Grade 7 and above clarinettists who would love to play it but just don't happen to have a symphony orchestra
handy! With playing hints.
